Custom Bag: Medium Zipper Tote That Converts Into A Backpack. Travel Carry-On Bag With A Passport Pocket.

This is a custom bag for Yi in Singapore, who has been looking for the perfect carry-on bag for her work travels. She chose the Medium Zipper Tote because she wanted a shoulder bag and customized it with the backpack option.

Yi liked the sleek look of an all black bag. From the front, you won’t even be able to tell it has backpack straps.

She is on the petite side, so was worried that the leather shoulder straps may be a bit long. I reduced it by 1″ on the shoulder drop.

The back has a zipper pocket with a passport slot inside. Yi saw this in a few of the bags I’ve made, like this one for Cass. It’s something I will work on by special request.

Yi thought the pocket would be useful because she can keep her phone and small items secure. She especially liked the passport slot inside.

I added a black paracord pull to the zipper, so it’s easy to open and close.

This bag has a total of 7 pockets. The Medium Zipper Tote comes standard with 4 organizational pockets inside and 2 outer front slip pockets. Then there’s the custom back zipper pocket.

On the inside of the front pocket, there is a key ring. You can attach you keys to it to have easy access and be assured it’s secure.

When Yi received her bag, she was so kind to email me about it. She really like it and said she will consider getting the Large Zipper Tote next time.
