Custom Bag: Modern and Stylish Diaper Bag- Large Carrier Tote (Convertible Backpack)

Carrie was looking for a convertible tote that turns into a backpack to use as a diaper bag. She has a 4 year old son and is expecting her 2nd baby, so she needs a large bag to fit all their needs.

Carrie chose the Large Carrier Tote because she likes to carry the bag on her shoulder. However, she thought that the detachable crossbody strap would be useful for putting it on her stroller.

I remember the days of pushing a stroller around everywhere. The key was always to get things from the diaper bag really quick for changes and emergencies. The crossbody strap can over stroller handle bar or if you have a diaper bag hook, it would be pretty handy to put your bag onto that too.

The Large Carrier Tote has 7 pockets in total. 2 are outside front pockets to get things quickly. 5 are inside and includes 2 bottle pockets. Of course, you have the large main compartment in the centre.

I actually designed my totes partially after diaper bags. I liked how practical they were with all the different pockets to organize things. I really don’t like open totes where you would just put everything in and have to rummage to find things.

Carrie added backpack straps to make her bag convert from a tote to a backpack. This optional feature is very handy to have when you need to be hands-free. When not using it as a backpack, you can adjust the straps to the shortest length to be out of your way.

Carrie purchased the Large Carrier Tote, but it also comes in a medium size. I would say that the Medium Carrier Tote would be more appropriate if you don’t have as much to bring, around the toddler or preschool years.

As always, thanks for coming by. If you have any questions, please contact me. -Cat
