As the sun shines through my window and I feel the warmth, I think about being able to go out to ride my Brompton folding bike. It’s mid-February and in Eastern Canada, the sun fools you. The temperature is still hovering around -5 degrees celsius, so I will have to wait a bit longer.
In the shop, there are now 3 Brompton compatible bags available for your Spring rides; the Medium Zipper Tote, Utility Tote and Roll-Top Bag. Christian and I tested these last year and I’m finally happy to have them for sale.
The Medium Zipper Tote is not a new design, but one that I’ve adapted to be compatible with the Brompton front carrier rack. It’s still one of my favourite bags and it’s the perfect size for your daily journey.
I’ve been using this as my personal biking and light travel bag (see my latest post to Montreal with it).
The strap holding the front carrier rack, that I designed, can also be used on a travel trolley suitcase when the carrier rack is removed.
Another feature of the bags that I make is that you can add backpack straps as an option. I find that when my bike is folded, I need to be hands-free in order to carry it.
The Roll-Top Bag is the newest and most versatile out of all the bags that I make. It can be a messenger bag and/or a backpack. Also, you can pack a little or a lot.
Christian likes to take this one for bike rides and short travel. It can pack a lot when you fill it. He says he likes that it can also be carried on the shoulder.
If you would like to see the bags in more detail, please visit the online shop. Bags require 5-7 business days to be made before shipping. Please allow 7-10 business days for customized bags.
