Studio Update: Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Is Now Used Throughout the Utility and Commuter Bags
This past weekend, I updated the shop with pictures of the new crossbody strap that goes on the Utility Totes (above picture) and Commuter Bags. I used to use a full-grain cowhide leather that worked well and looked good; however, this Italian vegetable tanned leather is even better. It’s beautiful and strong with enough flex to go across the body.
Solid and antique brass hardware is used throughout the bags. The strap is adjustable by a solid brass pin buckle. It is also detachable.
This leather is really nice. The colour is beautiful and it will look even better with age. It has a smooth finish and is just perfect to use for bag straps.
Here’s the Commuter Bag in black with the new strap. You can wear it on your shoulder or across your body like a messenger bag. Really spacious and portable.
The other colour option I have is dark brown with a black bottom. The above is a Commuter Bag.
For more information about either the Utility Totes or Commuter Bags, please refer to each bag for the size and details. Thanks!
