2023 Great Custom Colour Combinations

This year, there were some great colour combinations for bags and mechanical keyboard cases. While I design and make them, I attribute the finished item to the customers’ colour choices.

There were many nice combinations and I’ll just show you a few here.

Large Zipper Tote for David in New York City. Charcoal grey with black bottom and black leather. He’s using this for his overnight travels.

This dark combination of midnight blue and black works really well together. Kevin in Los Angeles ordered this for his 65% (standard bezel) mechanical keyboard.

Jacob in Washington, DC ordered this 60% (standard) case for his mechanical keyboard. Olive green with orange and brown bridle leather make a fantastic combination.

This set is for a long time customer, Nick in New York City. This time he ordered a 75% (large) case or sleeve for his keyboard and added a Flatpack Pouch. A pop of colour for each case: charcoal grey with yellow and midnight blue with orange.

This one is for Karen, who is a dear friend from Vancouver. She’s actually using this for her Logitech MX Keys Mini wireless keyboard. After measurements were taken, we found that it fit the 60% (standard) size case. Charcoal grey and olive green with brown leather work very well.

This set was ordered just before Valentine’s Day this year by Rebecca in Durham, North Carolina. This combination of midnight blue and red with black leather turned out beautifully. This is a 75% (large) keyboard case with a Hold Pouch.

This last colour combination is actually one that I chose. Earlier in the year, I released a small collection of Brompton folding bike bags. This Roll-Top Bag was a sample I made for Christian, so he can test it. He really likes this bag and uses it on his bike and also for our short trips. He’s a big fan of olive green, so I matched it with a yellow contrast and brown bridle leather.

I love working on custom colour bags and cases. I love seeing how it turns out and sometimes just sit there admiring the combination. It never gets old for me.

I’m looking forward to adding a few items for next year, writing more and some special projects. As always, thank you for coming by. -Cat
