Custom Bag: Medium Zipper Tote with Front Pockets and Luggage Strap | Water Resistant Lightly Waxed Canvas and Leather | Charcoal Grey and Brown

Melissa from Burlingame, California ordered this Medium Zipper Tote with added front pockets and a luggage strap. I’ve been meaning to make myself this bag for a while now, so this gave me the perfect opportunity to make two. I think Melissa was reading my mind.

The Medium Zipper Totes are the first bags I made for sale. I consider them my signature bags and still really like the function and the simplicity of them.

I really like adding 2 front pockets to the bags. It makes it so easy to get things that you need quickly.

The luggage strap is really useful if you plan to take your bag onto flights as a carry-on. The size of it is just under the personal luggage limit for most airlines. I don’t think I’ll be flying anywhere this  year, but I’m putting a luggage strap on my bag in hopes that it may happen… Otherwise, I’ll just watch Rick Steves‘ re-runs and live vicariously through his travels.

The interior of the bag has 4 divided pockets. 2 are water bottle size, so you can also put your slim thermos, folded umbrella and sunglasses in them, too. There are also 2 large pockets for your phone, wallet, and other belongings.

Many customers have purchased this bag to use as a modern diaper bag, too. Diapers, wipe cases, bottles and baby necessities can be organized into the pockets.

MATERIALS: 
The exterior of the bag is made out of a lightly waxed canvas that is water resistant. Premium Italian vegetable tanned leather is used for the straps.
