Brompton Medium Zipper Tote For Riding On Campus
Spring is approaching and soon it will be bike riding time again. Marjory, a professor at Cambridge, Massachusetts, is also looking forward to it. She ordered this Brompton Medium Zipper Tote well ahead of time. I love imagining her riding around campus with the bag at the front.
The Medium Zipper Tote attaches onto the front carrier rack. It’s shown on my racing green Brompton folding bike.
It’s made out of lightly waxed water resistant canvas for durability.
The bag has 6 pockets in total to organize all your belongings.
-2 large exterior pockets
-4 interior pockets: 2 water bottle size, 1 medium and 1 large
It also has a full zipper top closure to keep everything secure.
I created this latching system for the front carrier rack or bag frame. I use this bag too and the latch is very strong.
The bag frame is not included. If you don’t have one, you can usually find one online. It’s the small size frame:
30 x 28cm (H x W) is required to mount to a Brompton front carrier block.
When taken off the front carrier block, you can use the bag on your shoulder with the rack attached for convenience.
The rack can also be easily be taken off once you unlatch the snaps and slide it out from under the strap.
The Brompton Medium Zipper Tote can double as a travel carry-on bag. You just slide the luggage handle under the strap and it’s ready to go.
