Good News! Shipping To the USA Again With No Tariffs

I am writing with good news that we can ship to the US again! It has been a long 3 weeks untangling the most dreaded word in business right now, “tariffs.”

WHAT WE WORKED ON
Further to my last post, Christian and I have been unraveling Trump’s news of having to collect 35% tariffs after August 29th. Before any items can enter the US, tariffs and duties have to be prepaid and we could not work with this figure.

THEN… we looked to the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) free trade agreement. Our carry goods fall under this and are exempt from tariffs because it’s handcrafted in Canada using materials from North America.

WHAT THIS MEANS
-We are CUSMA certified for our items to enter the US
-No tariffs will be charged
-No increase in price for all items and for shipping

However… it is not business as usual. It is unprecedented that small shippers are being subjected to shipping like a large company. There may be delays at the border.

Thank you to US customers have been waiting to place an order and for all the kind words I received. Also, thank you to Canadian customers who placed their orders during this time, like Amy from Toronto (featured photo above: TKL mechanical keyboard sleeve in midnight blue). I am most appreciative and so happy to be working at full speed again.
