15% Off Mechanical Keyboard Cases, Sleeves and Pouches While Canada Post Is On Strike

This is the latest batch of mechanical keyboard cases I finished. As it’s day 25 of the Canada Post strike, these will be wrapped up and waiting to be shipped. The last strike, 8 years ago, lasted 31 days. Hopefully, it will be resolved soon.

The If You Can Wait sale (15% off cases and pouches) continues until the strike is over. I’m very appreciative of all the customers who are not in a hurry for their order. I know patience has a limit though, so I hope to update you soon.

Some earlier orders already packaged and just waiting for Canada Post to resume operation

You may be curious as to why I’m not using an alternate carrier. In 11+ years of business, I have only used Canada Post for these reasons:

  1. Lower cost of shipping
  2. Reliable. I can only recall very few packages that were considered lost.
  3. Cost to the customer when the item arrives. If you’re in the US or Canada, rarely will there be custom and taxes charged. As for courier companies, such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc. they charge hefty fees.
  4. When the customer is not at home, it gets sent to their nearest post office for pick up.
In the warm months, Christian and I like to bike to the post office to drop off the deliveries. We usually do this twice a week.

I’m very happy to be working during the strike. I’ll be even happier when I can get the orders out. In the meantime, if you are in no hurry and will be needing a case in the near future, there’s 15% off in the shop. -Thanks for coming by, Cat
