Custom Bag: Roll-Top Bag With Backpack Straps. For Work and Travel.

I really liked making this custom Roll-Top Bag for Seth in Austin, Texas. It’s a work bag and adventure pack all in one.

It comes with an adjustable and detachable leather strap, so you can use it as a messenger or shoulder bag. Seth added optional backpack straps, making this a very versatile bag.

Seth chose custom colours for this bag: olive green with a brown bottom and brown leather. After cutting, I lay out all the pieces and work on each part. I love this combination of lightly waxed canvas, English bridle leather and solid brass hardware.

As mentioned, Seth added the optional backpack straps to his Roll-Top making it a messenger/shoulder bag and a backpack.

When the bag is unrolled, you can pack a lot into it. That’s what I like about this bag. You can carry a little or a lot and it looks different depending how you use it.

The Roll-Top is a great bag to organize all your belongings. It comes with 6 pockets; 2 on the outside front and 4 inside. If you’re carrying a laptop, I always suggest to put it in the middle where all your belongings can cushion it.

For the final touch, Seth personalized his bag. The brown leather and the olive waxed canvas go so well together.
