Custom Bag: Brompton Medium Zipper Tote in Olive For The Front Carrier Rack
This summer, I had the pleasure of making a custom Brompton bag for Sekou in New York City. She contacted me asking what colour bag would match her folding bike in emerald lacquer.
I suggested the following custom colours and Sekou thought it would be nice, too.
- All olive green lightly waxed canvas
- Brown Italian vegetable tanned leather
The Medium Zipper Tote in olive green with brown leather is also the bag that I use on my Brompton. My bike colour is British racing green.
I designed the Brompton bags to latch onto a small front carrier rack. It’s secure and easy to take on and off with heavy duty snaps.
This feature, you will probably not find on any Brompton bag in the market. It not only goes on the front carrier rack for bike rides, but it doubles as a travel suitcase carry-on.
The Medium Zipper Tote has 6 pockets to organize all your belongings. 2 are in the exterior front and there are 4 pockets inside (2 water bottle size, 1 medium and 1 large).
All medium and large size bags I make come with a key ring. Attach your keys to it for easy access and security.
Sekou was very happy about the bag and kindly sent me a photo of her bike with it (much appreciated). It looks great!
