Custom Microsoft Surface Laptop Case

This is a custom case for Chris in nearby Atlanta, Georgia. Chris ordered a mechanical keyboard sleeve from us before and said he received a lot of compliments on it from his co-workers. He liked it enough to see if a Microsoft Surface laptop case could be made. I thought about the TKL carry case and how it would actually be a nice laptop case, if I re-worked the pattern.

It came out nicely and Chris was kind enough to email us to let us know that he likes it. It looks like a small briefcase, compact and hefty. When I finished it, It thought that it would be a really neat small messenger bag if I added a leather strap to it. I always have bag ideas, but if it’s for my personal use, I rarely ever get around to making it for myself.

Chris chose these custom colours: brown body, black bottom with black leather straps. I really like the richness of this brown and I think these colours all came together.

The front of the case has a pocket to put small items in, the interior is lined with a sturdy cotton twill and it’s all enclosed with a heavy duty magnetic snap with leather straps.
