Custom Bag: Convertible Large Zipper Tote Backpack for Travel | Lightly Waxed Canvas | Charcoal Grey and Red

This is a convertible Large Zipper Tote and Backpack for Karly in Charlotte, North Carolina. She added quite a few customizations to her bag. First, backpack straps and 2 front pockets were added. This makes the bag dual purpose and very useful.

Karly selected these great custom colours: charcoal grey with a red bottom.  She also ordered a Red Stock Pouch to match her bag.  Together, they are not overpowering, so the colours work elegantly together.  I thought I would feature this bag since the red is festive and reminds me that Christmas is only 10 days away!

Karly plans on doing some traveling with this bag and it is the perfect carry-on. She wanted a luggage strap on the back of her bag, which she will not regret. It makes going around so much easier. This large size is the maximum personal bag size for most airlines. It has a full zipper top closure, so when you have to stow it under the front of your seat, nothing will fall out.

The top of the bag has a full brass zipper.  It slides back and forth easily with a nice size zipper pull. It’s one of the nicest zippers out there and it’s very durable.

When you’re not using the backpack straps, you can adjust it to the shortest length, so the straps don’t  get in your way.

There are 5 interior pockets to organize all your belongings. 2 are bottle pocket sized, 2 are medium size and 1 is a large size. This bag is really roomy. It will hold a 15″ laptop and a lot of your personal belongings. The lining is a nice sturdy tanned coloured cotton twill.

She also personalized her bag  with a Italian vegetable tanned leather label.  It’s sleek, sturdy and ready to go on daily adventures!

MATERIALS:  Lightly waxed canvas that is water resistant. This proprietary blend of wax treated onto a premium heavyweight canvas is made from a family-run textile company established in the 1830’s. Even though this is a heavyweight material, the finished bag is lightweight and durable.

Thick Italian vegetable tanned leather that is strong and ages well.
