Version 4.0 Update

You typically won’t see me post a picture of myself often on this blog. However, a big thing happened recently and I feel like a photo is appropriate. I upgraded to version 4.0 (at least I hope it’s an upgrade!). Yes, I turned 40! The number seems so big. I’m not one of those people that denies their age. I’m just more baffled about how time has passed so quickly. 30 just jumped to 40.

The last 10 years have been a whirlwind. I got married, had 2 babies and started this business. I think I’m just starting to catch my breath. I will continue to refine my craft and share with you interesting things, I hope.

Thanks for coming to the blog, by the way! Many people don’t even run blogs anymore because they say “the blog is dead.” It’s time consuming and it doesn’t bring as many visitors as with other social media avenues. People just want to scroll through photos and heart things. You can see multiple accounts at one time and our attention can’t be used to visit individual blogs. Well, I think the blog is still important. It allows a person to talk about subjects in more depth that are limited in short posts on social media. I do use Instagram and Pinterest, but this blog is where I can show more of my work and talk about other subjects. So thank you for having the attention to come here.
