Black seems to the the colour many people are requesting for their custom bags. I suppose black never goes out of style. I like how minimal all black bags look.
This Utility Tote was made for Paula in the Toronto area of Canada. She needed a large hefty bag for work. She carries her 15″ laptop with her, so the water resistant exterior and zipper top closure will help her protect her belongings.
This one differs from the one that I have in stock in colour and size. I usually carry a medium size charcoal grey with a brown bottom Utility Tote.
Size of this bag: 18.5″ wide at the top x 13″ tall x 6″ deep
I cut the hand-held straps wider in bridle leather. This leather starts off a bit stiff, but with use it starts to soften and ages really nicely. The adjustable shoulder/crossbody strap is in a top grain cowhide leather. I use this leather because it molds better to the body. It’s softer, but still strong.
All of my bags that are medium sized and larger require a sturdier bottom. This one definitely needs a double layer canvas bottom to carry all the things my customer needs.
All solid brass hardware throughout. The strap can be adjusted with the brass pin buckle.
The interior has 4 pockets; 1 very large, 1 medium and 2 bottle pockets. I filled it in with some of my belongings here: laptop, text book, iPad, notebook, snacks, sunglasses and some clothing. It can fit quite a bit more.
Handmade in Vancouver to order.
