A Room With A Partial View and A Lot Of Bags
Summer time is when things start to slow down. I usually take some time off, take on more custom orders and plan ahead for the next few months. It’s a good time to make more stock because it does get busy during the fall and for Christmas.
Even if the weather is nice outside, I have to remain disciplined when I’m in the studio and get as much work done as possible. At least from my window, I have a partially nice view of the mountains. I can even see a bit of downtown. My studio is in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood of Vancouver, about 10 minutes drive from the city centre.
Here’s a batch of grey medium zipper totes I just made. I usually make a small batch of around 10-12 bags at a time. I have them ready so that I can ship them out in 2-3 days when an order comes in.
Here’s a pile of bag pieces that are ready to be sewn when I need to make more totes.
