Studio Update: Stocked Up For For Fall/Winter 2014
This week, I’m 9.5 months pregnant with my 2nd child. My due date is August 29th, at the start of “Labour” Day weekend, but baby could be coming any day now. Pax was born after a full 10 months and 1 day. I wonder if this baby will be like his big brother and stay for the full term… or longer?
These little hands love to play with the brass rivets that I use for the totes.
I stopped production a couple of weeks ago, but for the last few months other than taking orders and everything else, I’ve been working on producing stock for this fall/winter. It’s the busiest time of year and I wanted to be able to just ship out my regular stock items out when the order comes in. I won’t be able to take on any custom work for a while though.
It was a very productive summer and just wanted to show you some pictures of what I’ve been up to in the studio.
I made medium zipper totes in batches of 10 at a time. I love working with this wax canvas. It has a nice heavy texture that is just perfect for bags.
